This soil additive is a prime way to enhance your garden's natural biological processes. With multipurpose properties, Earthshine can boost the performance of new soil, lets you reuse your old soil, and improves the effectiveness of compost teas and mycorrhizae products.

Biochar and its use in amending soil is an ancient Native American technique that has been around for over a thousand years. It is based on the observation that after a forest fire, the soil in the surrounding areas is richer, more fertile, and has more microbial activity. Earthshine blends Biochar with glacial rock dust, soybean meal, humic acid, and worm castings to create a complete soil rejuvenating product to bring new life to your garden.

To use, mix Earthshine liberally into soil at a rate of 16 oz per 4 cu ft of media. For established gardens, top dress once every 4 weeks with 4 oz around the base of the plant and water thoroughly. You can also add 1 oz per 5 gallons of purified water and aerate for 6 hours, then apply to plants at the time of watering.
